National Year of Reading April
The theme for May is Mind and Body.
I have found seven reasons why reading is good for you. Reading provides an escape from day-to-day life, relaxation, stress relief; it stimulates the right side of your brain, and is entertaining, enjoyable and rejuvenating.
Sharing reading with other members of the family is also fun, you could read to a younger sibling or talk to others in your form about what you are reading right now or join our Carnegie Shadowing Group.

If you would like to take part in the shadowing please see Mrs Hawley or Mrs Parr. We will be having the first meeting in the Library at lunchtime on Friday 9th May.
